Sourced from the high desert mountains of Southern California, our Smudge Sticks are grown & hand-wrapped by members of a family owned & operated farm. White Sage or Salvia apiana, also known as “Bee Sage”, “Magic Sage” or “Sacred Sage” is indigenous to the Southern California region and grown in mountainous areas where fresh air and highly mineralized water are key to a thriving plant. The practice of using Smudge Sticks or "Smudging" originates from Native American culture. When Smudging, we honor the Earth, the white sage, and the Native American sacred ceremonies from which it stems.
